Dana C. Ditmore is a member of the Pillarton Advisory Team. He has more than 20 years of senior management experience in high technology environment, including: general management, engineering, quality, procurement and human resources. Mr. Ditmore’s professional experience has been dominated by opportunities to grow and develop profitable, well-managed business units providing vision and leadership, while managing the balance between strong customer focus and responsible financial performance. Senior Management experiences with companies such as Applied Materials, Lam Research Corporation and General Electric have included global responsibility for operations in Europe, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Singapore and North America.

Mr. Ditmore is the President & Chief Operating Officer of Tru-Si Technologies, Inc. He accepted that position to lead this capital equipment company through a transition from strictly product development to manufacturing and servicing capital equipment for semiconductor manufacturing. Tru-Si serves the global semiconductor industry with innovative technologies for thin wafer processes and new chip-to-chip interconnection structures. Thin wafers are key in producing increasingly smaller, higher density, more functional and less costly chips used in wireless, portable, smart-card, networking and Internet applications.

Mr. Ditmore was the Vice President of Customer Support Business Group at Lam Research Corporation. He led a business and organization turn-around and re-defined the business vision to focus on the achievement of profitable customer satisfaction via value-based services. Mr. Ditmore put in place a new leadership team to execute the new vision and implemented a set of key process indicators to measure/track business and organization performance and drive corrective action.

For 17 years, Mr. Ditmore held various executive management positions with Applied Materials. Mr. Ditmore served as the President of Applied Materials North America with global responsibilities for capital equipment systems and service business for all customer/accounts headquartered in North America, including: marketing, sales, service, spare parts, and technical training. As the President he had full profit and loss responsibilities. Previous to this position, for Mr. Ditmore served as the Vice President and General Manager of the Customer Service Division of Applied Materials. In this position his global responsibility was for all service business and service operations.

Additionally, Mr. Ditmore spent 17 years with General Electric in senior positions including: section Manager BWR Project, Section Manager BWR 6 Projects, and Subsection Manager Emergency Core Cooling Systems Design.

As President of Oak Valley Consulting, Mr. Ditmore spent 4 years coaching and mentoring senior executives in business and operations management, capital equipment sales and service. He holds BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley and he is a Graduate of General Electric Advanced Engineering Training Program. Mr. Ditmore was Chairman of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of National Society of Prof. Engineers and Chairman of Industry Advisory Council and SJSU College of Engineering.
