Ron Johnson is a member of the Pillarton Advisory Team. He has been involved in starting, funding and guiding corporate America for the past 15 years. Mr. Johnson has successfully served many industries including, Manufacturing, Software, Medical Services, Publishing, Defense, Biotechnology and Medical Devices and Real Estate Development.

Mr. Johnson joined BioGenetic Ventures, a life sciences investment-banking firm, as a Principal in 1999. The company performed tech transfer, capital sourcing, and mergers and acquisitions activity exclusively for the biotech industry.

He is a Principal in Allison Johnson Venture Partners, Inc., a provider of investment banking, venture capital and consulting services to high-tech and biotech start-up companies. The company runs a seed capital fund and maintains relationships with the next tier venture community in the Pacific Northwest. AJVP successfully raised funding and launched many companies in the Pacific Northwest Region. Mr. Johnson performed entrance interviews for hundreds of startup companies and validated their business and operating plans prior to recommending them for funding.

As President of the Silicon Valley Consulting Group, he worked with venture-funded start-ups in the Silicon Valley of California to develop their financing packages and their presentations to capital sources. The firm was used by many of the major VC firms and angel investors throughout the Valley to validate their operating models prior to investing in the companies. Previous clients have included Amazon.com, Intuit, Sun Microsystems, Ford Motor Company, The Gap and Cyan Software.

Mr. Johnson is a Board Member at Washington State University, Pullman Washington -- Finance Advisory Board, a Board Member and Adjunct Professor at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington -- Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, an Advisory Board Member at The Enterprise Network (TEN) and AMES Commercialization Center, San Jose, CA and Chairman of New St. Andrews College, Curriculum and Advancement Advisory Board. He is also a Member a of ASTP, Association of European Science & Technology Transfer Professionals.

He received his MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California in 1987 and his BS degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration in 1979 in Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA.
